Just wondering if you can help me. On the phone reports, it shows that someone made long distance calls from ext 2069. When I checked to see who's ext that is, it shows it was not active. Is there any way that I can find out where this extension is and who made the call. Does not show in the switch as Dn or ACD??

If the DN is not in the switch, make sure it's not in the voicemail system either. It could be a back door to toll fraud using it as a thru dial.

how would i check for that ACOD or ACD toll agent.
Seeem that this is one of the numbers being routed to make outgoing cals throught the switch. (XXX)XXX-XXXX
ENTR 14

I pulled up a whole list of numbers in the switch that had a route associated with them they are 1FL's but I forgot the load :)-))I think in the 80's.

Could you help with this.

and I f i don't see this extesion how can I trace it?

It is a XXX-2069 number that is used for incoming and outgoing calling.

Thank You

the only way to find that is to surch the mail for 2069, if it's not in the switch, quit looking in the switch...

Do you have other switches that are tied to this one? If so look in them. Call the number. Look in mail.

When you say "on the phone reports", what are you using to report?

comapring to the bills......... there is a load that I typed in that showed the rli I mean the phone numbers used to route calls to the different routes, How would I show the source numbers/
??

Thanks

If I understand correctly this xxx-2069 number is a copper trunk that you use for incoming and outgoing calls. if so you will need CDR to generate records for your calls being made on the switch. Your LEC bill will only show their number that you used to make the calls not your internal ext. (except for DID ranges) I maybe off on this one, but this looks like what you are describing.
