I have no idea what that print out is you posted but do your Call Pilot Agents have a high enough NCOS to make a call out.

Yes the ports are set with an NCOS of 5 and I block thru RPL's. Right now I'm just trying to fax to an internal destination so I should not be blocked. My mailbox class has accsess to LD for DTT and Fax. I can forward voicemai's to other mailboxes thru desktop so I know it's not a port 25 issue.

Just to check the obvious, do you have fax channels configured on the CallPilot server?

Would I not get inbound if I didn't have fax channels? Of course I have them.

When you try to send a fax, can you verify that the CallPilot server is placing a call to the destination fax?

I think I had a problem like this beore and it was something to do with the FQDN and the AMIS settings. I cannot remember exactly but it was something to do with the FQDN matching the FQDN name on the callpilot I think. I will have a look and confirm. Error does not look the same but on the trace.

Thanks,
Colin

I never see it trying to dial out. I am able to forward messages so if the FQDN was messed up would I not be able to forward voice messages.

Do the RPLs for Fax Printing and Desktop have permission to dial 4777?

Just had a look and at the time I had two problems the first was getting the desktop messenger to log on and this was related to the FQDN and the second was the RPL. Although it was using a default allow, It did seem to work until I specfied all the leading digits for the dial plan and extensions range on the RPL after that everything worked 100% including the dial via outlook etc..

Thanks,
Colin

check to see if you have Delivery to Telephone or Fax check, default is uncheck and faxes goes nowhere.

Messaging -> Message Delivery Config -> Unauthenticated Access Rest -> Delivery to Phone or Fax
