can't enable super loop

Unable to restore this loop

These are VGW trunks for the most part


REQ: stat 16
SUPER LOOP
DSBL RESPONDING

Any suggestions are appreciated - all maintenance needs to be done after hours - I'm trying to determine the current effect of this loop being out of service?

It's a VGW - loop 16 running in core-1 -

Active CPU-0

What are my options?

What effect is this loop being DSBL having on the system?

Can I lock the Core-0 and work on this loop 16 without an interruption to the system... INI or Reload - can't have an interruption during production hours

have you tried to enl in ld 32? Do the card slot

Yeah - no luck there

I did see mention of SCPU to get the system running on CPU-1 > then trying to initiate the ENLL

Not too certain and I need to do this maintenance after hours. I prefer to know what to expect before hand

have you swapped out your NET card for LOOP 16. is your NET card switch ENABLED. Make for sure your cables are secure then ENABLE the LOOP.

how do I verify the NET card is ENBL?

on the NET card, there should be a switch. Enb/dis switch. The card should have a RED light on if it is disabled in software and/or disabled by the switch on the card itself. if the RED light is on, move the enb/dis switch to disabled. unplug the cable or cables connected in the front, reseat the card, plug the cables back in, switch to ENB, then go into software and enable the LOOP. if the card does not come into service, you may need to have the card replaced.

yeah, but usually you will ge DSBL NOT RESPONDING if the switch is off.
