Cant enable SSH 22 or SAT SSH 5022

I can't enable SSH or SAT SSH in the web interface Server Access. When I select the enable button for each and click submit, the server responds with the disable buttons still selected. These ports are enabled within the firewall link.

I CAN enable/disable FTP at will.

SSH worked up until 6 weeks ago. When it stopped working, I went to Web Intfc to disable/re-enable. No changes to system in many years.

Any ideas?

Get the following after enter:
@S8500C> ps -eaf | grep sshd

Still can not enable via web interface.

The command reports usage. It fixes nothing.

If the service sshd is not running on the server, you cannot start it from the web browser.
bullet on enable for ssh 22 ssh 2022 changes to disable after submit.
