Can't enable D channel

I just built two new PRI loops. They are NFAS, with one primary DCH and one backup. When I try to enable the primary DCH (ENL DCH 1), the following message displays immediately after I hit <Enter>...

DCH: 1 DISABLE INDICATION TIME: HH:MM:SS
REASON - ** (00000086 )

Does anyone know where the explaination of this code is? It ain't in LD 96 anywhere! I'm currently running ok on the backup DCH.

1st : is the loop enabled ?
2nd : you could enable messages on ld 96
Ld 96 enl msgi 1
enl msgo 1

Can you post the configuration of your D channel?
LD 22 - PRT - ADAN DCH 1
And..why do you enable the D-Ch directly instead of enabling the loop and letting it come up by itself ?

try LD 60 i have'nt done this stuff for a while, but i remember having to use ld 60 to enl and disable Colin

When I first brought the loops up, I used the ENL loop command in LD 60. That's when I got the first

Subsequent attempts to disable and enable the loops and D channels, in both LDs 60 and 96, in various different orders didn't accomplish anything. Currently, both PRI loops are handling calls with the backup DCH 2 in service. D channel messaging won't lead to any clues because there is no messaging generated on a disabled D channel.
