Someone has evidently taken over the folder and removed Admin access. Just go to the Security/Advanced/Owner tab and take ownership as the Admin. Don't forget to add the user back in later.
Or someone set encryption on the folder, and you need to gain access back to it. The account that installed the PC is the recovery agent. Use that account to take ownership if lander215's suggestion doesn't work. pbxman

When you access the Security tab of the folder's Properties box, find out who took your permissions and have fun. Why not, after fixing your end of the problem, go into Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Computer Management/Users and Groups/Users and find their account, access the "Member of" tab, and delete all groups they are a member of, so they effectively have no permissions for anything? (While you're at it, check the "User Must Change Password at Next Logon" AND the "User Cannot Change Password" boxes in there, too. Good luck!
P.S. It's a good idea to have several admin accounts with names no one else recognizes and different passwords, so if one of your accounts gets messed up, you can log in as a different admin and fix it. whythisagainwhythisagainwhythisagain
