Can't do anything....

I try to log into my aix box and all I get is the command line. When I try to login it just hangs. Any help would be very appreciated!

what kind of login are you trying to establish,telnet or login through gui or green screen ? check filesystems not full? be more specific it helps to answer questions..!!!

If you are trying to login though CDE.Then check it may not be resolving the hostname properly.Check to see if you have configured any DNS server.If configured try doing name resolution locally. Create a file /etc/netsvc.conf & put the following line.
hosts=local,bind.
Check for your hostname and ip in /etc/hosts file.
