Hi folks,
I've tried everything. I edit the /etc/power.conf file and make sure "noshutdown" is there. The problem I have is that I launch the power management application from the CDE desktop and it immediately tells me that the setting have changed since last time or whatever and do I want t preserve or change them. then I get the little window stating what level of power management is being used (*customized* in my case). I try to change the drop down menu to Disabled or Standard and click OK but then I just get an error popup that states: "Error encountered changing power state" and that's it. Don't know what else to do. I'm logged on as root and this works fine on Solaris 9 CDE.
Thanks for any guidance.
