On our opt11c, having a problem dialing local number 5296528. Get a busy when I dial 5296528 & 5125296528. The only time I get out is if I dial 15125296528, then I get the "not long distance, no need to dial area code" message. The providor has told me it's ok on their end, but I can't find any reason it shouldn't work from here. This happens at any phone. All help appreciated, thanks.

IF AREA CODE 512 IS A LOCAL NUMBER DEL THE NPA 1512, THEN DO A NEW NPA FOR 512 WITH A RLI 0

Don't delete the NPA 1512 as some NXX's might be LD.
Add NPA 512 for Local numbers that you maybe required to dial 10 digits. I belive 512 is one of the areacodes that use 10 digits for Local and 1512-NXX-xxxx for LD

rule of thumb.. unless the 1st digit is a 1, then the 1st 3 numbers need to be an nxx.. one way to tell where it's broke.. listen to the station. if i dial 9 529 and get a busy the 529 is not built.. if i dial 9 529 plus the digits and get a busy it is either ncos/frl or even a bad route.. good news is usually a bad route kills more then a single nxx

I have 3 sites in Texas that use 10 digit dialing and 1 of them is in the 512 areacode, so all local calls use 512xxxxxxx and any call that is an LD call in 512 needs the 1512xxxxxxxx.

Thanks for the help everyone, I wasn't exactly correct in what I wrote earlier...

If I TRY to dial 5125296528 I only get up to 5125296 then get busy, like I'm not set up to dial 10 digit. How can I correct that?

I tried to add npa 512 but got ESN072, if I try to prt npa 512 I get ESN073.

You must have 512 as an NXX instead of an NPA. print NXX 512 to see what it has.

yeah, that was it ace.

I removed nxx 512 and added npa 512. That shouldn't cause any other issues?

Thanks again everyone.
