Can't Dial Extension number out of Nupoint AA 2

Ok, let me start by saying that we are new too the Mitel world.
We have fumbled our way through the setup and can get calls answered by the AA but as soon as we try and dial the First Digit "3" we get this is an invalid option. - other options within the call flow work (i.e press 7 to be transfered to xxx)

We checked the dial plan and have tried setting "3" to V or "3" but still the same results...

Any thoughts or suggestions.
 
Are you referring to Nupoint's Call Director? It's likely the dial plan if you've already set up a menu with the correct max DTMF length of your extensions and the multi-key option to blind/supervised transfer of gathered digits.

The dial plan will need to be changed to allow the correct number of digits to be entered given the starting number. For example our extensions are 4-digits and can potentially begin with 2,3,4,5, so the dial plan is configured to 144441111.
 

Agree with surferx0. If the Nupoint is setup to answer with a call director you need to make sure its set for multi-key dialing. Sound like it because you have "dial 7 to transfer to xxx" as part of the main greeting.

So if you want to reach 3xx are you trying to dial 3xx or 7 then 3xx?

Ok, so in the call flow the max digit is set too "3"

Option "3" is set to retry....if i change it too blind transfer to gather digits as soon as i press "3" it transfers to the attendant...

You mentioned a "multicall"....perhaps this is what i'm missing....
