I can't dial a DSC of (6) from my console. I get a busy if I do. There are two other DSC's that work fine from it.

I have all DSC's rli's the same. I can dial the ACOD of the route and then the dsc number and call goes through fine. I can dial the DSC off of any other analog or digital set and it goes through fine. the ncos of the console and the frl are the same (7). The routes on the "good" dsc's are tie and the "bad" one is a DID route.
TGAR and TARG are turned off on this switch.

What is your 'FLEN' on your DSC's? Set the Flen to the length of your DSC, not '0'.

Ok, I just tried that and still got the busy...I set the Flen to 4 and the console goes to a busy just as soon as the 6 is pressed...
This has got me scratch'n :)

Your original post says "I have all DSC's rli's the same",
but then it says they are using different routes. Can you post the dsc and the rli?

Yes you are correct..I did say that, I should have said not including the routes. They are pointing to different routes. Stdby and I'll get that info for ya...:)

I have built an ac2 code of 20 and an spn of 6 to the same rli 22 DID route 4 and the call goes through off of the console using ac2 (20 6400). Could it be that the console just doesn't like the cdp going to a DID route and likes the TIE better. I'm going to try building a TIE route on one of the channels for a test.

The switch will not let me build a TIE route, it won't go past the CBCR prompt unless I answer YES. If I do that then it wants a master ISA route number. I've never messed with building those. Any Idea's what I'm doing wrong??

I was thinking dsc's use tie only, but you said other phones are able to dial it ok. Sorry, but I'm at a loss. I have no consoles here, so I don't know the programming. Maybe someone else has the answer. Couldn't hurt to post the console programming.

This t1 is going over to a Cisco Call Manager. I was hoping someone out there would be up for trying to help solve this one. I'm really at a loss for support on this and in dire need. Right now we are transfering the caller to a digital extension so they can transfer the caller to the cdp number. I have tried programing a test tie route and failed, for some reason it wants the route to be an ISA route and I don't understand why. I'm looking for a way to do this as Q
SIG as well, if anyone has any documentation for a compatable setup for Nortel/Cisco, I'd sure appreciate it. Does anyone have any other suggestions...besides melting it down.

I'll post the console programing in the morning, Thank you 1norteltech and 59deano for your suggestions.

Try changing the DSC to a TSC or a LSC? If that doesn't stop anything else from working, it may prove something at least.

Consoles have no programming relevant to call restriction. This is an odd one. I am wondering if this a BARS corruption issue? You might try setting the console to a "different" NCOS, just to see if that kicks anything into operation.

I've seen corruption do very odd things in BARS - nothing that made sense. Just a possibility.

The only thing I would suggest is changing your Route/Dchannel/Members to be QSIG/ISGF for call to and from Cisco and ForceDownload the changes to the MSDL but before you do that just change the DistantSteeringCode 'DSC' to a TrunkSteeringCode 'TSC' as already suggested

Cheers!!

Thanks guys...I'll give that a try and let you know.

Cisco has doucments that tell you how to intergrate Call Mangers to Nortel Switches. Ask your Cisco vendor. The information helps with building common equipment, routes, B channesl onthe span and correct D channel information. It worked for me.
