Hi all,

I have troubles to delete some 0 kb files on a clustered nss volume,

I've tried it with explorer, ConsoleOne and CPQFM( Compaq file manager) on the prompt of the server.

I don't want to do a rebuild of the volume yet, but i was wondering if anyone of you know some other options to delete these files.

cheers dampo.

Have you looked at the files to make sure that they are not falged 'read-only'

Also you could try using Filer.

Simon.

Simon,

They are not flaged read only.

And what is Filer?

Dampo.

Hi all,

Allright i Used Filer.exe and was able to delete some of the files that were still there but not all...
So any other idea's ??

regards Dampo

We have compaq servers and there was a program on one of the cd's that came whit the server (cpqfm).
whit that we could delete all damaged files and arcives.

Hi,

Got the same problem, locked files can only be removed via portal, volume management, browse to the files, and click on propertytab (question mark next to file), you can see a user is locking the file, you can unlock, and then delete. When lots of files you will have a hard job....but better then reboot....
