Can't Delete account w/ admin privileges

I have 3 account on an XP pro machine. When I log in as admin and try to delete the other account with admin privileges I am unable to. I can give the 3rd account admin privileges and delete the second account, but I am stuck with the same problem of having 2 accounts with admin privileges. I would like to have only 1 acct with admin privileges??

There is a default Administrator account that cannot be deleted.

Either use that account, or live with two Administrator accounts.

Under Users, what happens if your right-click and select delete?

Removing the profile is a different issue. You would need to assert ownership:

Wild, off-the-wall guess (I have not tried to recreate and verify this at all):

Could this be a feature/problem of using the Welcome screen? Since built in administrator does not appear on the welcome screen, it wants an additional user to have admin priveledgs?
