When trying to create policy package in netware6 I get this error: There is not a snap-in to create this type of object. If you proceed and use the generic object creator, the resulting object may not be usable.

ConsoleOne ver 1.3.3 I suspect that ZfD is not proper installed. Can it be? If so do you know if it's ok to reinstall ZfD ?

Are you running Console One from your workstation or from the server? I like to run it from my workstation because it is much faster but I then had to copy the 1.2 directory from the server to my workstation so that I get all the proper snapins.

I've only installed Zen on pre-production servers. I'm not sure about a reinstall. At a minimum you will need to get the users out of any NAL delivered apps and do a java -exit command at the console.

thanks SuperDaveDCF i think i'll try to reinstall ZfD. I just have to get a propper backup first.

Reilli,

You don't need to re-install ZFD, just take a copy of the snap-in's directory under sys:\public\mgmt\consoleone\1.2\ and copy to your local machine.
To see whether ZFD is installed correctly on teh server, type in java -showall at the system console and verify that the services (AWimport etc) are running. If they are, it is more than likely that your ZFD installation is correct
