Hi all,
I want to connect to the sys monitor
but wen i try it shows trying to connect to
and doesnt connect.
i have the ip address correct and am using the default password

What would be the cause?

Any advice would be appreciated.
thanks

It will be the password, it doesn't use the same password as Manager (Administrator) it in fact uses the system/monitor pasword which is by default "password" so try that (minus the "" marks of course) :)

I guess you forgot this in your recent training right? :)

i have successfully connected to the sys monitor
but now this wat is happening
on line 1 on the IPO
this is wat i configured
on the line signaling ...to CO
Admin.......In service
Line sub type....ESTI
and the service provider connected the E1 successfully
but why is it that when i try calling using an outside number
i cant reach the inside avaya phones?
i dnt receive a dial tone on the Avaya phone
it says phone nmbr is busy wen using the outside call to the inside phone.

Any advice will be appreciated.
thanks

When i check my system status it shows out of service
how can i turn it to in service.
IS there any documentation on how to setup the PRI
and i also get this error of the number of channels configured on the
universal PRI lines exceeds the number of license channels.

Does any one think it would be the problem for not allowing incoming calls
to the phones?

Any advice will be appreciated.
thanks

You should be able to just plug in your PRI card and go. very little config needed. If its showing OOS then you need to check with the provider its on. Often with a new circuit with BT you need to tell them you have installed the kit and they liven it up.
