Can't Connect to queue Manager

Hi, All,

I run into a problem while running MQSeries on NT. I have a queue manager which I can start by calling strmqm, but when I want to run Runmqsc.exe, it gave error: AMQ9508, can't connect to queue manager. Anybody know what could be the cause of this problem?

Check if the queue manager is not a default.
Try this Runmqsc (queue manager)

Marco the problem you are having is a common one on MQSeries NT

it seems that your RUNMQSC is not working because the QMANAGER is not the default queue manger

try this

RUNMQSC FRED

where fred is the name of your qmanager

Here is the tricky one. I dont know how you have queue manager name setup, I have them as environment variables of my system. I am running my app on NT4 IIS machine. I have VB dll that is using MQSeries dll mqax200 and iam using this dll in ASP . From ASP i cant access environment variables and it crashes. Any idea behind mqax200 or environment variables?/
