Cant connect to Mitel 3300

HI,

Just received an cxi 3300(2nd hand), i'm trying to connect but when i type in the ip address (found through wire shark), it just times out.
I havent connected to one of these for a few years so i might be missing something obvious?
Also connected to the rs232 port, im getting information but cant stop it to type commands.
Hope some with patience could help me with this.

I'm running ie11 not sure what version is on the cxi

any help will be good

IE11 requires you to be in compatability mode. try that for starters. You may ahve to go back down to as low as IE8 though (I and others run it in a VM on XP just for this purpose.

If you can't type commands on the RS232 port you might need to play with whatever terminal software you have as it might not be passing the commands on to the system. Often find the wrong terminal type will do that i.e Vt52 instead of Vt100

Thanks for the tips.
It seemed like it was a crossed over rs232!
I managed to press space bar 3 times, maybe not a good thing.
The user name and password had been changed so copied some commands for resetting password, and now at boot up i'm getting the error message: error auto-loading file: errno = 0x38003.

Any ideas?

You will have to perform the BootChange via the hardware manual instructions.
