HI Guru's

I have run a asp/access database website on a university NT server fine.

however i am trying to run it on a customers NT 2k server and i am unable to do any database queries?????

i have gone through the database source(ODBC) wizard
- added microsoft access driver in the system DSN tab
- entered a DSN name and description
- searched and enetered the path of database.

however i don not get any errors and no page is displayed
any ideas ???

I can't say that I've seen that kind of behaviour.... no error messages at all? Not even in the server log?

The first thing I'd check is to make sure the 'Internet User' has permission to access the .mdb file.

If you have MS Office on this machine you might want to look for MSQRY32.EXE. It's handy, gui SQL command builder that should also help you debug some of your DSN access problems.

Regards,
Jim
