Hi,

I have two site in IP trunking. One is AVAYA and Other was CISCO. I set up such that one of our DID from avaya will forward the call to a CISCO specific extension. What I did is have coverage path with remote coverage r1 in it. It will point to my CISCO ext. So if somehow is calling that DID which was in AVAYA it will cover to my cisco. The DID doesnt have physical phone.

So all calls in that DID, the cisco ext will ring. No problem. But if CISCO will transfer the call, it cant complete. It will cut off.. The denial event was resources unavail/unspec. Any insights? Local calls were all okay.

Check the trunk-to-trunk transfer option in the system-feature if enabled. This may help.

You should be using the UDP table instead of coverage. Does the Cisco Call Manager know what extensions are in the Definity?

You have a 3 word problem, Cisco Call Manager. POS and I dont mean point of sale.

I dont use the UDP table because we have code to dial. We used 831 to dial to cisco. 8 is for our aar code. from CISCO to avaya they use 830. Do i need to have UDP?

telm59,

the prob is with CISCO call manager?
