Can't call outside operator?

On a Option 81c I am unable to dial 9 then 0 for an outside operator? 0 is programmed as SPN and goes out the local route. I do not know where else to look.....any help would be appreciated!

When you dial does the pbx tell you that the call is restricted? Maybe you have to see the station`s NCOS.

Did you review the RLI en LD 86, every SPN has an RLI, in RLI you have to see what rout, FRL are you using.

Thanks! I will look at that........Is there anything in the programming of the route that could keep it from going out?

You have to check the TGAR parameter in the outgoing rout as well the TARG parameter in the station (If TGAR and TARG are the same the stattion can use the rout for dialing), could you paste the print of the SPN, RLB, Rout, and the station that your using to make the call

if other numbers go out that route it is not the tgar, if other numbers use that rlb, it;s not the frl.. it may be depending on your carrier, 0 is not added to their dialing plan. some carriers don't have operators.

then try changing spn 0 to that same rlb. that will "fix" any ncos tgar conflict.

I am able to dial local numbers that go out the same rout with no problem......I have contacted the local provider and they tell me 0 is not blocked and that the problem is on my end. I have done a trac and do not see it accessing the rout?

this shows i am sending 0 to my ld route (156) with a frl of one, allowing anyone ncos 1 or above to make the call

According to your print out you should beable to make a 0 call. Have you thied to use a buttset or if you don't have a buttset, you can use a 2500 set punched down on a trunk and see if you can dial 0.

Well after an all day struggle with the local provider and banging my head trying to figure this out, I am now able to dial 9 and 0 for the operator. Turns out that our PRI (NI2) sends out 0 as "OSA" operator service assistance and it was not being recognized by the provider. They had to translate OSA to a zero for there switch to accept it. Thanks for everyones help!! You guys are good!

usually is a provider if the busy is after the last digit dialed, a busy before that is usually in the switch.. ace, that was my print out
