Cant break dialtone

Were having a problem in that we cant break dial tone on allot of POTs. Everything else is fine. The POTs are on different loops / shelfs. The switch health count is correct. Any ideas? Thanks

Ive stat'd them in ld34. COmes back NONE. Guess thats good?

You have DTR cards, you would stat them like a regular card
they are in the IPE shelfs

to find DTR just go to ld 20
prt
dtr
and then stat the cards that print out.

also check your TDS loops.

(ld 22 prt cequ will let you know the loop numbers)

Hi, thanks for your help.

Ive stat'd all DTRS and all 5 cards are idle and also stat'd the 4 TDS loops - all up and showing 0 DSBL.

Any other ideas? Thanks again!

OKay just done a DTR test. The first card fails and gets dsbl. THe other 4 all pass! SO I guess thats my problem

Ill replace it first thing tomorrow. THanks for all your help!

When you are referring to POTS, you mean Analog TNs?

also have you made any changes recently, ie. adding a T1/PRi loop etc.

you can try to disable 1 dtr card at a time and see if that fixes it.... check the cards LED as well.

if it's disabled then you should be ok, test it now and you should be ok.
