Hi All,

--Database Setup--

I have created a basic client satisfaction survey database for our organisation. I have split the questionaire up into seperate sections for Personal Details, Services they have used in our organisation, and an Overview of what they thought of the facilities. Each of these 3 sections have the data stored in their own table. I have 1 main form which has the Personal details, with a subform for the Services and a second subform for the Overview.

--Problem--

I can fill in the Personal Details section with no problems, however when i move to the Services or Overview section to start filling in information i get the following message box;

You can't assign a value to this object.

*The object may be a control on a read-only form.
*The object may be on a form that is open in Design view
*The value may be too large for this field

Can anyone point me in the right direction on what is causing this???

Any help is much appreciated.

Cheers

are the subforms linked to the mainform?
are the subforms populated by query's?

Hiya,

The subforms are linked to the mainform by the Primary key. And the subforms are not populated by queries.

Cheers
