Can't add an user from domain to be admin on my local computer

I have a win2000 server which configured to be Domain Controller. now i install one more comp 2kserver to be a member of that domain, but when i try to add 1 user from that domain into administrator group in local computer, then i met a message: ...Domain name server could not be exist...
anyone can help me to solve this prob.

It's a DNS issue. Active Directory is built on DNS.. Do you have DNS running???
 
Thank you very much, the problem is solved, i typed the IP of DNS server on local 2kserver's TCP/IP. Then the problem is solved. Problem is correctly DNS
