Can't add a field to report after not selecting it in wizard 2

I created a report using the wizard and then needed to add a field to one of the source tables. The new field will not show up in the field list in the report design mode, and selecting it in properties/control source/expression builder results in "#Error" on the report. Any ideas?

You need to add this field to your report as well as to your table.

Go to the report's recordsource property and add the field in the query window that opens up. You then need to add a textbox to the report with this field as its recordsource. Maq B-)
