Cant access web interface for gateway

weird issue here. i have a g350 gateway of which i can telnet into, autosat, login to the g350, but i cant access the web interface for it using the login & password credentils of the 8700. the files sync ok because i can see it using the list sur. so why cant i login? running version R014x.00.0.730.5

Well do u have an S8300 terminated on the G350? Sounds like ur telling the story without it. Is this an LSP? You can telnet the MGP of the G350 but autosat is such a weird command if ur on the MGP interface.

it does have an 8300 with LSP. i can telnet to the cli, from there if i want i can autsat (although i usually use procomm), i am trying to access the web interface to download firmware to a few MM's. it appears i can access everything except the web

Make sure that you are telneting to the S8300 NOT the S8700 or else you will have a serious issue.

Ok since you have access on the S8300 via linux prompt. enter this command. stop -a on the prompt, this will stop all process on the S8300 server. enter statapp to view all processes... a word UP means the processes is up and running. a word DOWN must me seen once you enter that command. then try entering start -a to restart all process...

Then try accessing the web again

what do you get when you try to login? a 404 error?
