Hi !

I can't access the bios setup on a IBM 300GL

What I'm supposed to do is to press F1 after turning it on. But I just obtain a "No operating system found. Press F1 to retry the boot sector". So I have not any way to access the bios setup (I just want to boot from the cd-drive)

Before it all started I formated and 'f-disked' the hard disk using a MS-DOS booted from a floppy disk.

Can anybody tell me how can I access the bios setup again ?

Cheers !

Suspect you have wiped out Cmos settings from a hidden partion on your hard drive. You could check with IBM as there will probably be a setup program that can write the information back . Try looking for an IBM web site in the support section . Compaq has this setup and I suspect IBM would be similair.
