Hi,
I'm running a 5-Station local home network. All have WinXP Pro installed. One of the stations will not allow access to C:\Windows and C:\Program Files directories from the other 4 stations.

How do I enable access to these directories on this station?

ThanX,
The MNJ

This is a networking question and doesn't belong here.

That said... This sounds like an authorization problem. Check to see that the directories that you want to see are shared. Also make sure that the users are allowed to see those shared directories.

Hi guava65,
These two folders are not shared and the "Share Screen" has their share options greyed out. Actually, I didn't have this restriction until I updated Windows XP with its current updates and patches.

ThanX

If the share option is greyed, it sounds like you need to have administrator priviledges. Check your user settings to make sure you are an admin then you should have the ability to share folders.

good luck,

Aloha,
