At work, our domain server was recently upgraded to Windows 2000 with Active Directory.
Now, on my Windows XP workstations, I can not access the list of domain users to add to a shared folder or to a group (ex. Power Users). When I try to do either of these, in the box labeled location, there is nothing to choose except for the name of the actual computer I'm at.
Also, a separate Windows 2000 server is used as a file server only (not a domain controller) and I was always able to access it. Now I can't. (On this server, I have given my account name full access.)
I did not do the Windows 2000 Active Directory upgrade. I'm not sure if the person who did it knows what the problem is either.
I'd appreciate any and all help or ideas.
Thanks in advance.
