Can't access directly to Definity

Hi, I tried to connect directly to TERM port behind Avaya Definity but the laptop did not pull out anything. My connection as below:

TERM port => DB25-to-DB9 => DB9-to-Serial => Laptop

Can anyone advise me this connection is correct? and pinout DB25 to DB9.

I attached picture for reference.

Have an expert advise me do we need a special DB25-to-DB9 cable? If that is, please advise the pin out for this cable?
