hello,

I have a user who came from a remote site, I joined his laptop (running XP) to the Windows domain here and that is when it all starting going bad....

The problem is that as long as he is connected to the network, he can connect to the Citrix servers, everything works fine.

When he dials up and loads his Cisco VPN software, he is unable to connect to the Citrix servers. I tried to telnet to the address:

telnet 192.x.x.x 1494

and couldn't connect.

I installed the latest version of the ICA client, but that didn't fix anything.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appeciated.

If I understand this correctly, when he is on the domain, it is working fine, but when he leaves and goes remote he can't connect?

If he is outside the firewall, he will need to connect to an alternate address set on your on your server
ex. altaddr xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

Why are you vpning into your network?
Do you not have citrix setup to work with a webserver?

Any help would be appreciated.

Erik
