Just got my wireless network up and running. I can't seem to get to certain website while wireless. For example I can get to Yahoo but not Yahoo mail. If I plug in the Ethernet line into my laptop I get there fine but not on wireless. I read a previous thread and downloaded Windows XP Pro SP1 but that didn't fix it. Any ideas? Thanks.

if you where to go to the wireless router homepage whichis proberbley http:// then enter in the routers ip then you should be able to configure security for the wireless card and edit channels and stuff thhatsometimes helps

I had the same problem. I couldn't get into with my wireless network enabled, but I could get into every other website out there. When I took the wireless out of the equation and plugged directly into my modem, I could get in. What I did to solve the problem was access my router ( and went to:

advanced
wireless
authentication type

and then changed the default setting from "both" to "Open System"

Now I can access the troublesome website with my wireless network hooked up. by the way, I have a Linksys BEFW11S4 router. Hope this helps...

Solved it. Found out that you have to go into the WAN settings on the router and change the MTU to a lower default setting. It was set to 1500. Changed that to 1452 (as suggested by Dlink) and that solved the problem.
