I have a canon S800 and have purchased a standalone print server, without doing all the research :(
Reading the online documentation for the DLink300+ (Link indicates that it does not support GDI or host-based printers.
I have looked on the internet an even spoken to Canon support - but no-one can tell me if the Canon S800 is a PDI or host based printer.
Anyone know the answer, or where I can go ?

Thanks

I have same printer and I want to buy a standalone print server too, but I am making a research first :)
And also I am trying to contact Canon support with no luck
Did you make it work - S800 with print server? Seems to be you are the best person to ask is S800 a GDI printer or not because you already have a printer and print server.

It won't work. The s800 needs a computer to do the pre-rendering\rasterizing of the image. Most bubble\ink based printers are like that. The DP-300 works best with laser printers.
