I cannot view policies in the GUI from my pc, but when I log onto my colleague's machine then I am able to double click a policy. I am running NBU 6.0. Thanks

Do you login with the same login id/domain on both PCs?
Perhaps some setting on the MASTER servers /usr/openv/java/auth.conf file?? Check there!

I use the exact same userid and domain.
The bp.conf file looks ok - any parameter in particular
I should look out for ?

same versions of Java?
There has to be something different.. Memory issues, Java issues or something.

If you use the same ID to logon to NBU from your buddies machine and that ID does not work on yours.... there is something non-NBU that is the issue.

Thanks,

Frank

Maybe u can try add your client name on the master server properties as additional servers and client attributes from the gui.
regards

I've re-built my machine and I'm now able to view the policies. Not sure what caused the problem but it must have been something non NBU.

Perhaps some 3rd party application interferring with ports?
