In Word 2007 I cannot turn off automatic hyperlinks and I have followed the directions:

1) Click the Microsoft Office Button Button image, and then click Word Options.
2) Click Proofing.
3) Click AutoCorrect Options, and then click the AutoFormat As You Type tab.
4) Clear the Internet and network paths with hyperlinks check box.

All data in the document is in a table and some of the email addresses appear as hyperlinks and some do not. Out of the many URLs in the document, only two are hyperlinks.

How can I get Word to make all URLs and email addresses be plain text?

Are all new URL & Email address plain text after making your AutoCorrect changes?

Have you cleared the tickbox in the AutoFormat tab as well?

Cheers,

Jon
