I cannot seem to stop the output of CDR records to my terminal. I thought I could start/stop it using LD 15 but that doesnt seem to work anymore. I dont know what I changed to make it do this but am very frustrated in making it stop. If anyone could help, please let me know. Thanks a million

LD15 CDR SHOULD HAVE DONE IT??
OR YOU COULD CHANGE THE TTY TAKE OUT CTY AS ONE OF THE USERS

OK, so heres the story. I am still trying to stop the CDR output to the terminal, however, I cannot disable the tty because I cannot disable the tty that I am logged into. (Makes sense) Let me explain what is happening as of now. Initially I needed the CDR data to be spit out to a AS/400. Got that to work. But it only spit out the data to the AS/400. Somewhere along the line, within the last week, I made a change to something that made the data spit out to the AS/400 and the terminal. So, now if I go to LD 15 and CHG the CDR_DATA I can stop the output, but it stops it to both the AS/400 and the terminal. This tells me that they are both on the same port. Is that possible? If so, can I change it so the AS/400 is on its own port receiving data by itself?
If I go to LD 17 and do a REQ=chg TYPE=ADAN ADAN=CHG TTYx and get to USER and try XCDR, it wont allow it. It does however like XTRF (Traffic) That did not help either.
When I do a stat in LD 37 this is the Output:
TTY 0 : ENBL
TTY 1 : ENBL DES: ONSITE
TTY 2 : ENBL DES: MODEM
TTY 3 : ENBL
TTY 6 : ENBL DES: ACDPRT1
TTY 7 : ENBL DES: MSR
MSI 0 : ENBL

When I do a stat in LD 42 this is the Output:
SDI 0 TTY ENBL
SDI 1 TTY ENBL DES: ONSITE
SDI 2 TTY ENBL DES: MODEM
SDI 3 TTY ENBL
SDI 6 TTY ENBL DES: ACDPRT1
SDI 7 TTY ENBL DES: MSR

I am new to Meridian, and am learning as I go (and making plenty of mistakes) I know nothing about the ports and cards in the PBX~~~> it would be nice to have some documentation. I think what needs to be done is to move the AS/400 to a different port so that the terminal and 400 are separate!
Any suggestions are very welcome! Thanks

TRY LD22
REQ PRT
TYPE ADAN TTY

SHOULD COME BACK WITH USER BUG MTC CTY

CTY INDICATES CDR TO THIS TTY

THEN LD17
REQ CHG
TYPE ADAN
ADAN CHG TTY #

USER XCTY

I THINK THAT SHOULD DO IT

Thank you very much for the advice! I will give it a try and see what happens.

OKay, I now can start/stop the CDR output to the terminal ;)
However, I still have the problem when I shut off the terminal, I loose the CDR output to the AS/400.
So, my next big question is, can anyone tell me the proper way to set up the CDR data to go to the AS/400?
Can I create a new port (tty) for the AS/400 to use all by itself?
In LD 17 what is PTY? I know it means Pseudo TTY and its an input/output port card type but what does it do for you?
And one last question, When I'm in LD 22 and do an ADAN PRT, all that is returned is a blank <cr>, nothing else, just totally blank?

Thanks for the help!
