I have just built a test backoffice 2000 server and setup IIS and went to start setting security on folders. When I right click on the folder and go to properties I do not get a security tab. I get General, Web Sharing, Sharing, and that is it. The other test servers I have created have the tab not sure why this one does not.

Any sugestions??

Volume must be NTFS in order to get the security tap.
you must convert the volume to NTFS

Convert D: /fs:ntfs

where d: is the drive letter of the affected volume.

Must just be coming to this forum helps my thought process. Anyhow this last server I setup on my laptop on a seperate partition. This partition was Fat32 not NTFS. I realized this after I posted and decided to take another look. I used convert.exe to convert it to NTFS and boom I can set security now.

You must have been writing at the same time as I. Thanks for the info thou!
