Cannot Send Email - multiple errors

I am setting up IMail 8.05 on a Win2003 Server machine. I do not have a domain and IP for machine yet (so i cannot recieve) but would like to send. When i try to send i get all kinds of errors. From the Log:

when i try to send to an internal mail server :

ERR undeliverable 500 Mail from address not valid

when i try to send to external mail address :

[x] Connecting socket to service <SMTP> on host <yahoo.com> using protocol <tcp>
Stack connect fail &quot;66.218.71.198&quot;

any help would be much appreciated. thanks,

Check your settings, like SMTP, hostname, ....
