Hi,
We have a Win2k server with Exchange2k on it on one box and MS SQL server on an other box. On the box with MS SQL running on it we have installed Veritas Backup Exec 8.5. I have installed the necessary keys to use the exchange agent but I can only see the Exchange Mailboxes. I can't see the Information store or Exchange Directories.
I've installed the Remote Backup Agent on the Exchange box and the Open File agent too. After some searching I also found something about copying a DLL-file (can't remember which one) from the exchange server to the backup server and then after rebooting it would solve the problem.... Guess what, it didn't
.
I also tried to install the management tools from exchange 2k on the backup server and applied the neccesarry service pack on it so it is the same as on the exchange machine.
Still doesn't work.
Any suggestions are welcome! Need to add here that both servers are on the same domain.
Sense.
