I have created a custom menubar for my reports in MS Access 2003. When i assigned it in the properties section under menubar access does not let me save the report!

It keeps prompting me to save yes no or cancel.
The only way to get out of the form is to cancel and then my toolbar property is not saved.

HELP!!!!

Hit Crtl+G

In the immediate window...
Docmd.setwarnings True <enter>

Try saving again. Hopefully you will at least get a more meaningful error message.

How are ya bitsyspider . . .

You say:

A custom menubar/toolbar is automatically saved and permament to the db until you delete it! There's nothing to do about saving reports. [surprise] I can only surmise your opening reports thru menu buttons who's action property points to code that opens a certain form.

Perhaps if you explain in better detail a door will open.

See Ya! . . . . . .

My interpretation... he couldn't set the toolbar property of the report and then save the report.

Lameid.. you are right.

I did create the menubar and it is saved in access.
I then go to the properties of one of my reports to set the custom menubar i created. When i do this i can select my new menubar but when i attempt to leave the report access does not let me save it or in fact any changes to the report unless i select cancel or no to it's save question.

Though the menubar is still in access it isn't assigned t the report.

Did you try my suggestion?

Any difference? I'm hoping for an error that tells us something more meaningful than it can't save it.
