I can run an interactive backup if I start the backup before I leave work. However, one day a week I leave early and users complain if I slow down the network by starting the backup. I have gone into ntbackup.exe and set up a scheduled job. I set up 5 different jobs for Monday through Friday.

However, I come in the next morning and check the backup log for the previous days scheduled backup and it tells me the backup was aborted and that the backup could not be completed b/c no unused media was found. I recycle these tapes weekly and I know they have been used but under the advanced options I told it to replace any data with the new data.

I am back to having to stay after everyone else just to start the backup and I am about to be out for 6 weeks. I am trying to get this resolved so my boss won't have to wait around to interactively start these backups every night. Please help. I just went through the steps in the wizard to create the scheduled backup I didn't do anything special just picked the files and named each backup for the day it would be running and then set the schedule and advanced options. Any ideas?
