Cannot run DBFIX

Hello,
I have Windows 200 server with ArcServe 2000.

I was trying to run the utilities and was always getting error -2005 unable to login. I read the documentation on the use of the utilties. It seems like I was doing everything correctly. Any suggestions?
What is the correct syntax, username, password, etc?

The server name is arcserve, the username is admin and the password is secret.

I used that, but still got the same error.

Close the ARCserve manager when running the VLDB utilities.
