Cannot retrieve DB2 tables in designer

All,

I am trying to retrieve DB2 tables in designer (v5.1.7) to create a universe but am getting the following error:

[IBM][CLI Driver][DB2] SQL0443N Routine "SQLTABLES" (specific name "SQLTABLES") has returned an error SQLSTATE with diagnostic text "SQLCODE=-805 DSNP.DSNASPCC.DS". SQLSTATE=38222

Business Objects Reporter runs free hand sql queries ok against the same databasse. Why can't I select the tables to create a universe in designer?

FReehand SQL will never issue a CLI catalogue function. When you import tables into designer, then you will certainly do that.
So ,you either have no authority on those tables, or you may need to rebind (talk to your DBA)
