Cannot Restore

I'm doing my disaster recovery tests and I cannot back up from my tapes. I finally got my backups going smoothly but the restors are giving me a hard time.

I consistently get the following error

The job failed with the following error: Unable to load the job configuration information.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I did a search here and couldn't find anything specifically pertaining to this.

Im assuming when you make the selections for restore then try to submitt you get this error?

Yes I'm sorry I left that out, you are correct.

Are you using tsa600 or tsafs? I found if I renamed tsafs and reloaded backup exec so it used tsa600 instead it solved my restore problems.

I'm sorry I am not very familiar w/ veritas I'm kinda learning on the fly. What is tsa600 & tsafs?

They are file system Target Service Agents for Netware 6x.

Oh ok, I'm running this on a full Windows network. In case I've left anything out...

Windows 2003 Standard Edition.
Veritas 9.1
HP surestore dat 40 tape drive
