A couple of things to think about when using an alternate Master and Media Server for a DR exercise. The media information in the catalog is associated directly with the Media Serevr which performed the backup. If you are restoring via an alternate Media server you will have to set NetBackup to force the restore via an alternate Media Server.

Another way to perform DR test is to poerform a recovery without import (See Doc 263423 at Veritas). This doc also explains how to use "force alternate Media Serevr restore".

At this point I am just guessing because I do not know things like the names and IPs of your Production NetBackup Servers, as well as the same information for your DR environment. I would highly encourage you to read the document at Veritas (263423). Even if you decide not to perform your DR in this method there are several configuraion and command information nuggets worth the read.
