Cannot remove sync config

Hi Experts, I need to remove a MG but unable to because one of the DS1 card is still in the synchronization config. Whenever I issue cha sync med x, it gives me this error: "Media gateway must be capable of IP synchronization to be administrable". This gateway is already offline and had been long gone. Is there a way that I can still remove the synch config on this MG?

I tried this method but it still gives me that message (Media gateway must be capable of IP synchronization to be administrable). I forgot to mention that the MG is a G430. It is already decommissioned and can no longer be brought online.

In my experience, you'll need to add the G430 back online with the same IP address so you can remove the DS1 configuration. Have you tried removing the DS1 configuration (Trunk Group, Signaling Group, channels, sync source, etc)?
