I just installed a new copy of the Backup Exec 11d on a Windows 2003 Enterprise server. I initally installed it to the wrong Drive (c
and due to space I had to uninstall and reinstall to the (e drive (more space). When it resided on c: drive it recognized the tape library and actually move the tapes and read them, but now on the e: drive I get the following error:
"Job started : Thursday, July 12, 2007 3:30:00 PMJob ended : Thursday, July 12, 2007 3:30:14 PMFinal error: 0xe000821e - Library error - incompatible storage media detected in robotic library.
Final error category: Backup Media ErrorsCompleted status: Failed"
The tape is not even pulled from the library to the tape drive, and it fails within 5 seconds of starting. Any ideas??? I updated the SCSI driver, and the tape driver firmware (Exabyte VXA-2 Packetloader 1U (not with Firewire).
