Cannot receive all mails

Hi,
I have a problem in which that one of my user's email account cannot receive all the mails that were sent to the account. He only received only a few emails only. Any help is very much appreciated.

I am having a simular problem of not being able to retrive mail from the server and know it is still laying there. I am using OE 6 and started having the problem while using 5. sometimes it just decides to give me a few messages but not all. I was using 98 and upgraded to xp to see if it would solve the problem, no luck.

When downloading messages does it say that the job is complete and that it downloaded all messages that it indicates that are present? For example, it would indicate 24 of 24 messages downloaded.

also, what kind of internet connection are you on? and when trying again does it duplicate the messages you had already downloaded before?

I am running on Windows 95 and using outlook express. Here is the problem. I can send and receive mail, but sometimes the mail cannot be displayed. It looks like something foreign. Any ideas on what causes this? Thanks.
