Hi,

I have a drawing in Excel 2002. I can see the whole drawing and the text boxes and contents and points. But when select the print preview, I can see the drawing but the text boxes and contents and ponts are gone. The text box and its contents, points cannot be printed.n Any suggestions? Thanks

Right Click on your control in design mode. Select format control. Make sure the print object check box on the properties tab is checked.

HTH,
Eric

Hi Eri,

Thanks you so....much for reply! I right clicked the picture and checked the Format Picture---Properties and the print object check box on the properties tab is checked. But on the text boxes inserted you can only see Format Text Box and cannot access to its properties. There's no problem to print the drawing picture itself. The Text Boxes, contents and ponits intered cannot be printed. You can see them when you open the Excel file, but these Text boxes cannt be seen when you open Print Preview. Any advise? Thanks again

Try this. In design mode. Click on the text box to select it. Then Right click on the border to access its properties.

Eric,
Thanks again, Eric for reply so quick!
I did get access to the properties and all the print object are checked, but you still cannot see them in print preview.....any more advise? Thanks a lot!

The last thing that I can think of is to right click on the picture, then under order select send to back. You also might try copying and pasting into a new workbook. Mabye someone else has more ideas.

Thanks a lot, Eric!

I did what you said , still no luck! I copied the picture to another workbook, but the interted text boxes and points cannot be copied over. Thanks a gain!

Hi eric,

Just figured out that you need define the area(cells first) then select set area from file , then print. Thanks
