I am running a Foxpro 2.6 program from a WindowsXP client.
When I attempt to print a Foxpro report I actually don’t get an error message. What happens is when try to print, the screen hangs up; nothing prints.
I did not create the Foxpro programs and am unfamiliar with the Foxpro programming tools; I don't know what to do to solve this problem.
Printing works from one WinXP client, but not from another WinXP client.
Any help to zero in on the problem would be a big help.

Since your printing does indeed work from one of the workstations, I suggest that you look into your Report Form (assuming that you are using Report Form printing.)

Have you cleared the Report Form's 'inherited' printer settings to allow the report to utilize the individual workstations default printer? See: faq184-581

If you are using the older ?,?? method of printing, are the printers on the individual workstations set up exactly the same?

Good Luck,

You are probably trying to print to the local port LPT1.

IF don't have a printer attached to your worksation, capture youre printer to LPT1
In the DOS command window:
NET USE LPT1 \\PRINTSERVER\PRINTER_NAME
