Cannot print an envelope

XP Home edition and Works 6.0....I cannot get an envelope to print. No printing at all appears on an envelope or plain paper. Is this a common problem and is there a solution out there?
I do understand the print setup options.....what am I missing?

Are you using a printer driver that was supplied by XP rather than an updated XP printer driver from your printer manufacturer?

I downloaded new drivers from the Lexmark site and it did not solve the problem.
I would appreciate any more tips.
I have downloaded SP2 and all other updates from MS, too.

I think your next step would be to contact Lexmark's Help and support professionals via e-mail or phone, it is bound to be something they have dealt with before (I hope).

Otherwise, post the printer details and I will see if there is any more specific help available.
